Combolands Heirlooms: How They Work

The rules that apply to all of them

Every heirloom named in a public source

Crux Games advertises 100+ passive heirlooms. Only a handful are named in public sources, and every one of those is named here with the source that names it. The rest are not listed because we have no way to check them — a table of invented heirloom effects would be worse than a short honest one.

HeirloomTypeWhat the source saysSource
Jewellery BoxCollectorCollects gems. Filling it takes 8 gems, and they do not have to be unique. Selling the completed box gives you the Lost Crown.Steam guide 'Guide: Unlocking Rogues & Arcane'; v1.0.6 patch notes
BookshelfCollectorThe tome equivalent of the Jewellery Box. A v1.0.6 fix stopped gems and tomes from sometimes failing to go into the Jewellery Box and Bookshelf, which is the clearest public confirmation of how the pair works.v1.0.6 patch notes, 2026-08-28
Lost CrownSell-to-useAwarded for selling a completed Jewellery Box. Selling the Lost Crown in turn gives a Wizard vote, and using that vote unlocks the Arcane guild.Steam guide 'Guide: Unlocking Rogues & Arcane'
Crystal BallDisplay / scoreNamed in the v1.0.4 fix that made heirlooms and Crystal Ball show week changes correctly on the starting score animation.v1.0.4 patch notes, 2026-08-25
Gold-multiplier relic (name not published)EconomyA launch-week player answering "is there any point to a multiplier on buildings that don't score?" says there is a relic which applies mult to gold gain, which makes mult on a Vineyard worth having. The relic's name is not given, so we do not guess it.Multiplier thread, 2026-08-30
GemsCollectibleThe items the Jewellery Box collects. Eight of them complete it. The Antiquarian councillor is the reliable supply.Steam guide 'Guide: Unlocking Rogues & Arcane'
TomesCollectibleThe items the Bookshelf collects, named alongside gems in the v1.0.6 fix.v1.0.6 patch notes, 2026-08-28

The Jewellery Box chain, step by step

  1. Get the box. It can appear in the shop or in heirloom chests. The Antiquarian councillor is the reliable route — it can hand you the box and then keep supplying gems.
  2. Feed it 8 gems. Duplicates count; they do not have to be unique.
  3. Sell the completed box to receive the Lost Crown.
  4. Sell the Lost Crown to receive a Wizard vote, which unlocks Arcane.

If gems and tomes seem to vanish instead of entering the box or the Bookshelf, that was a real bug — fixed in v1.0.6 on 2026-08-28.

Do not sell everything at the end

Since v1.0.6 your final gold score takes heirloom sell values into consideration. Before that patch, an unsold heirloom contributed nothing to the end-of-run gold figure; now it does, so dumping your collection in the last week to convert it is no longer the obvious play.
